Biography
Born in 1962 in Gönen, Balıkesir. He attended Vecihibey Primary School in Bandırma and completed middle and high school at Karataş Lisesi in İzmir.
He studied Civil Engineering (BSc) and Coastal & Marine Structures (MSc) at Dokuz Eylül University, and went on to work as an engineer for several municipalities and in the private sector.
In 2007 he stepped away from engineering to devote himself entirely to writing. His work has appeared in Renkli, BirGün, LeMan, Yeni Harman and Akıl Defteri. He lives in İzmir.
